Resolve the crisis of "Inappropriate" Court Buildings in a Number of Governorates

As the new judicial year gets started in May 15th 2022, High Judicial Council announced a solution to resolve the crisis of “inappropriate” court buildings in a number of governorates.

Last March, High Judicial Council and partners inaugurated the Hebron Courthouse Complex, with a total area of 16,050 square meters, to serve as a model for the design of future courts. The courthouse includes First Instance and Magistrate Courts, Public Prosecution and Judicial Police Services

In addition, and during the last period, the crisis of buildings of the Magistrate Courts in Tubas and Halhul was resolved, and Hebron Appeals Court was moved to a separate building in the city.

High Judicial Council confirms that unremitting efforts are being achieved to solve the crisis of Ramallah Courthouse Complex through two streams. The first stream is to temporarily rent a new building for the court. Meanwhile the second, which has gone a long way, by owning a plot of land in Sorda area to establish a court complex that meets the governorate’s needs through a phased manner.
