On April 20, 2015- Chief Justice Ali Muhana delivered a lecture for Master's Degree students at An-Najah National University on challenges and obstacles facing justice sector in Palestine and possible ways to translate its vision into action. On his part, Dean of Faculty of Law Dr. Akram Daoud hosted his Excellency warmly thanking him for accepting the invitation.
During the lecture, Judge Ali Muhana explained many political and legal challenges and difficulties facing justice sector which are in large part due to the Israeli occupation that tries to hinder powers authorized to Palestinian justice sector components. He also talked about the need to amend justice and judiciary related regulations to meet justice sector needs and to cope with internal and external challenges.
Chief Justice emphasized the importance of promoting public trust and confidence in judicial system; encouraging citizens to overcome the stereotyped idea about this sector and resolve their disputes at courts.
Meanwhile, Judge Ali Muhana stated many achievements have been accomplished by justice sector in developing case management system, enhancing enforcement departments and using modern IT system.
