High Judicial Council Holds a Meeting to Discuss Developing Administrative and Judicial Work

 On March 17, 2015- Chief Justice Ali Muhana met with a delegation from the joint program "Rule of Law and Access to Justice For the Palestinian People" implemented by UN Women and UNDP Programs represented by UN Women Program Director Maresa Konsolatakmber and UNDP Deputy Program Manager Carolyn Graydon.

Mrs. Maresa Konsolatakmber stressed the importance of supporting the joint program to accomplish the goals set out by justice sector plan and to build on efficient and accountable rule of law, human rights and justice.

For his part, Chief Justice Ali Muhana assured the strong and strategic partnership between High Judicial Council and United Nations Development Program expressing his support to the completion of work in the best manner possible; he also indicated that the new modifications for the organizational structure of High Judicial Council came to meet the needs of modern developments.

During the meeting, the delegation acknowledged that the program will appoint an international expert to study the possible ways to unify legislations and judiciary system between West Bank and Gaza.
