On June 15, 2016- Chief Justice Chancellor Sami Sarsour met with delegation from JASP represented by Project Director Emery Edward, Deputy Director Mahmmud Shaheen, Technical Manager Bob Dean and project advisor for prosecution activities and military judiciary Dr. Ismeal Ne'arat with the presence of Acting Chief Justice Office Manager Mr. Issa Zahran; to discuss public prosecution's code of ethics.

During the meeting, the attendance discussed public prosecution's code of ethics inside courts and their way of dealing with judges and citizens, similarities and differences between judges' code of ethics and public prosecution's code of ethics, work to unify inspection procedure between judiciary and prosecution specially after presenting the draft of inspection procedure to High Judicial Council board members.

JASP delegation raised interest in hearing chief justice point of view regarding the code due to the close relationship between judiciary and prosecution.

For his part, chief justice assured the importance of taking into consideration, while drafting code of ethics, all conditions regarding work pressure in courts and the existence of all parts of lawsuit in court at the same time.
