On Nov 27, 2016- Acting Chief Justice Chancellor Emad Saleem Sa’ad met with Chairman of Military Justice Commission Major General Ismeal Faraj and accompanying delegation to discuss ways of joint cooperation.

The delegation conveyed their warm greetings and congratulations to Acting Chief Justice on his new position wishing him success in providing services for judiciary and litigators.

During the meeting, the attendance discussed several issues, independence of judiciary, relations between High Judicial Council and the Military Justice Commission and ways to enhance citizens' trust in judiciary.

His Excellency expressed his deep appreciation to the delegation and indicated to the main task for HJC in enhancing citizens' trust in judiciary and courts; assuring the importance of judges' immunity and independence of judiciary.
