On Nov 24, 2016- Acting Chief Justice Chancellor Emad Saleem Sa’ad met with the expert Mr. Alphonso Lintz from OQR to discuss future joint cooperation.

During the meeting, the attendance discussed priorities and challenges of High Judicial Council in order to put the suitable plans in accordance with judicial authority strategic plan; they also discussed the necessity to develop unified legislations including the amendment for Judicial Authority Law.

Chancellor Sa’ad gave a brief explanation regarding the current situation of Palestinian judiciary mentioning the main challenges and obstacles. His Excellency indicated that High Judicial Council is ready to cooperate with other countries in order to exchange experience and knowledge with paying attention to the importance of institutionalized reform and the need for financial support.

For his part, Mr. lintz assured support of donors for HJC indicating  the importance of preparing studies and plans to be as basics to identify fields of support.
