At the Beginning of the Legal Year 2016 – 2017

On Sep 1, 2016 – In the first day of the legal year 2016 – 2017, Chief of Supreme Court Chief Justice Judge Sami Sarsour announced the new judicial formation 2016 – 2017 indicating that (234) judges have been distributed at all court's levels: (198) judges at the northern governorates and (36) judges at the southern governorates to meet the needs of courts in accordance to reports' indicators that have been prepared by High Judicial Council.

Chancellor Sarsour added that there is an urgent need to increase number of judges and that HJC works continuously to provide courts with new judges to guarantee access to justice for all citizens and accelerate case disposal.

His Excellency sends for judges his richest blessings in all their endeavors to achieve justice and wishing them years of productive judicial services; hoping to succeed in setting quality and quantity achievements for Palestinian Judiciary.
