On 15 May 2016 – Under the auspices of Chief Justice Chancellor Sami Sarsour, Head of Judicial Inspection Department Judge Muhammed Dwik signed a MOU with his counterpart Judge Locian Notegrow on enhancing cooperation, supported by EUPOLCOPPS in the presence of Deputy Head of EUPOLCOPPS Mission Lena Larsson and judges of judicial inspection.
The memorandum aimed at establishing organized cooperation plan on enhancing administrative abilities and exchang judicial expertise to deepen exchanged knowledge, clarify best practices, and provide joint approach to develop services of judicial inspection in both countries.
In his speech, Chancellor Sarsour assured the importance Judicial Inspection Department's role in monitoring judges' work and disciplinary actions indicating that monitoring process isn’t for their decisions but for improve performance and achieve justice in accordance to law provisions.
His Excellency also thanked the Romanian Judiciary for their fruitful partnership that aims to facilitate development process in judicial institutions.
