On Jan 20, 2016 – Chief Justice Sami Sarsour met with a delegation from American Bar Association – Rule of Law Initiative chaired by Expert Bahar MerHossieni to discuss mutual cooperation between both parties.

The delegation mentioned that they are in a process of conducting a competition on "Moot Courts" between six Palestinian universities and they request HJC to chair the jury or to nominate judges for this task. It is worth noting that the winning university will then participate in the international rounds in Washington, D.C.

Chancellor Sami Sarsour praised the idea showing HJC readiness to cooperate in order to contribute in creating positive competition between law colleges in Palestinian universities and to improve student skills.
