Upon Transitional High Judicial Council recommendation, His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas issued a presidential decree to appoint seventeen Magistrate judges.
The judges delivered the oath in front of the Chief Justice and members of Transitional High Judicial Council in Ramallah.
The newly appointed judges are: Omar Saqa, Asad Qasim, Khaled Orabi, Ruba Yassen, Baha Khuiri, Faris Mustafa, Ali Abu Salih, Majid Miliji, Nathir Taha, Ahmad Alsaid, Lina Ahmad, Jamal Dudin, Faris Shahwan, Lubna Kukali, Odi Zyoud, Mohamad Mustafa Aljabarin, Ahid Abu Thaher.
Chief Justice Chancellor Issa Abu Sharar congratulated the new judges wishing them success in delivering justice services.
It is worth noting that the new appointment is compatible with the policy of Transitional High Judicial Council to support Palestinian courts with new judges to meet the case load which is currently filed in regular courts.
