On Feb15, 2016 – Chief Justice Sami Sarsour met with the representative of Chemonics project Mr. Scott Short, Project Manager Abed Abu-Shamsieh, and Mr. Ali Abu Ali Justice Sector Component Leader of the program.

During the meeting, they discussed the projects that have been achieved, among them implementing Execution Department in Ramallah First Instance Court, ways of enhancing cooperation between regular judiciary and Shariah judiciary in the field of executing Shariah decisions in Execution Department to facilitate women's access to justice.

Chief Justice said that HJC is currently works within the available resources and there are many plans to develop work mechanism in the council and its departments.
