On Jan 18, 2015 – High Judicial Council and International Justice Cooperation (JCI) announced the launching of "Institutional Strengthening of High Judicial Council in Palestine" Project at the Judicial Media Center by the attendance of Chief Justice Ali Muhana, JCI Direcrtor- General Mrs. Karima Zouaoui, EU Representative Ms. Silke Clausing and via Skype: experts, Mr. Eric Minnegher and Mr. Tony Mousa.

The objective of this project is to improve the organizational structure for judiciary and justice administration in order to cope with the latest developments and to enhance effective and efficient performance.

Chief Justice Ali Muhana stressed the importance of pushing up the judicial process and work mechanism assuring that High Judicial Council is ready to establish true partnership among all judicial actors and cooperate with European Union to exchange knowledge and experiences.

The project will last for twenty months achieving several goals: suggesting optimum timeline to reduce backlogs of cases, elevate the organizational structure of High Judicial Council, enhance facility management and improve training capacity on courts administration.
