On Jan 19, 2015 - High Judicial Council and Palestinian Judicial Institute started a training program supported by EUPOLCUPPS to support the newly appointed magistrate judges.
Chief Justice Ali Muhana stressed on the importance of providing ongoing programs for developing judges' skills and capacity building. He also stated that this program came to enhance judges' knowledge to adjudicate with criminal cases in fair and effective way, to deal with prosecutors and defense during court sessions. Chief Justice comments, "The future of justice and the future of Palestinians are priority for all to consider."
Head of Palestinian Judicial Institute Judge Thoraya Wazer expressed her profound appreciation to EUPOLCUPPS for their ongoing support and dedication to help justice sector in general and Palestinian Judicial Institute in particular. She also mentioned that the program consists of 18 days and targets 15 magistrate judges.
