On March 16, 2016 – During a meeting organized by Student Affairs Department with participation from Mr. Muhammad Al-Ahmad, Birzeit University welcomed Judge Iman Nasser Al-Deen to talk about her practical experience in judiciary and obstacles faced her.  

Judge Iman Nasser Al-Deen talked about society rejection to female judges which gave her more determination and insistence to face challenges. She said" Woman must work hard to change the stereotyped image of women in Arab societies in general and in Palestine in particular, woman can occupy high level positions if she put her goals and insist to achieve them at the same time, woman needs to work constantly to improve and develop her educational and practical capabilities."

Judge Nasser Al-Deen praised the increased number of female judges and lawyers; she added "Palestinian woman managed to enhance the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination in work fields by demonstrating her efficiency and proficiency."

For his part, Mr. Muhannad Al-Ahmad assured that Palestinian woman managed to work in different fields with wisdom and objectivity.
