On Dec7, 2016 – Acting Chief Justice Chancellor Emad Saleem Sa’ad met with delegation from Implementing Juvenile Law Committee to discuss the latest developments regarding its work.

It is worth noting that the committee includes representatives from HJC, Public Prosecution, police, Ministry of Social affairs and Defense for Children International Palestine; knowing that the committee supervises over the implementations of Juvenile Law.

The delegation indicated that they intend to hold training for all staff working in juvenile sector: judges, prosecutors, juvenile police, and child protection officers in addition to a group of lawyers; the training aims at building capacity for all targeted staff at the same time to be able to transfer their experience to their colleagues, a training manual will be prepared in this regard.

His Excellency Chancellor Sa’ad appreciated all efforts that have been done by the committee and assured HJC complete readiness to support juvenile field considering it as a responsibility over the shoulders of all community sectors.
