The HJC dispatches nine law graduates

To the Jordanian Judicial Institute to obtain a diploma that qualifies them as judges

   On Sunday 12, October, 2008, nine law students, Palestinian universities graduates, pursue their education at the Jordanian judicial institutes. This is done in the form of a scholarship given by the HJC for participating in the diploma program for judicial studies at the Jordanian Judicial Institute for 2008/2009.

    According to the Honorable Issa Abu Sharar, Head of the High Court/the Chief Justice, the participants in the mentioned study program will be appointed in the conciliation courts once they finish their program. Such courts, despite of the 39 appointments which were done during the current year , are still suffering form a lack in the number of judges and they need to be filled with new competent judges.

   The selection process of the participants was done in accordance with a competition which was announced about in the local newspapers. Such announcement opened the way for those whose qualifications match the competition conditions to compete in the scholarship. The completion was conducted in a high transparency and under the supervision of three judges committee composed by a HJC's decision.

    In accordance to an approved scholarship by Salam Fayyad , the prime minister, following a request by the Chief Justice, the participants will obtain a monthly salary that covers the living expenditures and housing for the participants over the study program length period. The participants are : Hussein Y. Yasin, Khaled M. Ma'ali, Izdehar K. Sa'ed, Mouhamad M. Ghali, Yasmein H. A'ereqat., Ramez M. Jamhour, Rula O. Assalibi , Islam R. Alhusyani and Mahmoud A. Abu A'yesh.
