    The President Mahmoud Abass received by hand, yesterday, Tuesday, at the presidential headquarter in Ramallah, the Third Annual Report from the chief Justice Mr. Issa Abu Sharar despite of the difficult security and economical circumstances prevailed the Palestinian territories during 2007 and the subsequent illegal takeover and dominance of the regular courts in Gaza Strip. This report comes as an indicator to the many achievements realized by HJC over the past year; it includes the strategic plans that aims at promoting , upgrading the overall judicial sector components so that a capable judicial authority can be created to actualize the security, social and economical stability in the Palestinian territories . Further more, the report refers to the extent of support that the Judicial Authority has received from the President Mahmoud Abass and the Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad who both confirmed, in many occasions, the importance of reinforcing the Palestinian Judiciary and of maintaining its prestige and independence so that it becomes a one mean that enhances the national independence and a one pillar of the prospective Palestinian state whose capital is the Holy Jerusalem.
