During his visit to the Jordanian Kingdom, the Chief Justice discuses with his Jordanian counterpart the means of cooperation in the Judicial Sector.

Chief Justice Office, Ramallah 

     The Chief Justice, accompanied by a number of Judges, paid a formal visit to the Hashemite Jordanian Kingdom through the period 5-9/5/2008. The Chief Justice Mr. Issa Abu Shara met the Honorable , the Jordanian Chief Justice and the Head of Cassation Court Mr. Mohammad Samed Araqad ; besides, the visit includes a meeting with His Excellency , Minister of Justice, Mr. Ayman Odeh . During the visit, both parties talked over the possibility of providing the Palestinian Judiciary with a number of Jordinian Judges as well as the possibility of developing the working administrative bodies in the regular courts through giving them the required training in the Jordinian Courts. On other hand, the Jordinian party manifested its complete readiness in supporting the judicial apparatus in Palestine with the Jordinian Judges as well as in allotting ten seats at the Jordinian Judicial Institute for qualifying the Magistrate Judges. Mr. Abu Sharar's visit comes within the framework of walking with the Judicial system development in the Arab states and of carrying out the general strategy, produced by the HJC, related to upgrading the Palestinian Judicial Authority concerning the quality of Judicial work so that the Judiciary can fulfill its role in protecting the rights, mooring the principles of justice and enforcing the rule of law.
