MIZAN Training Session

7/3/2009

The chief clerks began training for the new court automation system, MIZAN, on Saturday March 7, 2009. It was the first in a series of training sessions, endorsed by the Chief Justice, that will take place through out the year and focus on developing the professional skills and efficiency of court employees. Sessions included introducing the program, problems related to data entry, and training on how to complete the required reports and notifications.

The training was held at the Palestinian Judicial Institute in Ramallah and sponsored by the High Judicial Council (HJC) and the Netham Project. Dr. Susan Coleman, Senior Technical Advisor of the Netham Project welcomed the employees and encouraged feedback on the new software. The data from MIZAN will be analyzed by Netham and used to develop new procedures to further improve the justice department.
