On April 26, 2017 - His Excellency Chancellor Emad Saleem greeted a delegation from Hebron containing business men and families’ seniors. The delegation presented their demands including the establishment of an appropriate court in Hebron and increasing the number of judges there since Hebron is one of the largest governorates in the West Bank and its population reaches more than 300,000 residents where the current court doesn’t fulfill its judicial duties as a result of the increase in the registered cases, Backlog and overcrowding.
In this regard, Chancellor Emad Saleem asserted that they are about to start establishing a model court according to the international standards where the necessary designs and the peace of land for the court are ready and these designs have been sent to Hebron Municipality to get the Building permit. It is expected to put the corner stone in a month and the building will take approximately two years.
H.E. also added that meanwhile they are doing their best in order to provide an alternative court temporarily within the available potentials.
