Minister of Agriculture indicated that there is a tendency to amend The Agricultural Offenses law regarding the mitigating circumstances in cases before courts in order not to accept such circumstances which reflects negatively on the national economy.

Chancellor Saad assured the importance of considering the overuse of pesticides; H.E added that the testimonies from judicial control officers (customs police and Ministry of Agriculture) are given a priority in courts to be presented without any delay.

Both parties agreed on the importance of cooperation and coordination to provide best services for citizens and to protect them from offenders who tried to harm Palestinian society by selling contaminated food and smuggled goods from settlements.
