On Feb 12, 2017 – Chief Justice Chancellor Emad Saleem Sa’ad and SWASYA Program Manger Marisa Consolata signed an agreement on the implementation of Strengthening the Rule of Law in Palestine Project.
The agreement aims to enhance HJC inspection department staff knowledge of the inspection best practices, bylaws and procedures and MEZAN software; enhancing the capacity of technical staff in areas of drafting bylaws, recording judicial procedures and conducting legal research. In addition to holding training program for new inspection judges including the MEZAN case file management system.
Chancellor Sa’ad assured HJC complete readiness to cooperate with SAWASYA Program, and talked about HJC vision in achieving independence of judiciary, developing judiciary and institutionalizing HJC work.
H.E thanked UNDP for their continuous support for HJC and judiciary in Palestine.
