Palestinian delegation chaired by Chief Justice Chancellor Emad Saleem Sa’ad participated in the launch event of the Global Judicial Integrity Network in Vienna – Austria at United Nations Headquarters.
The launch event came to strengthen judicial integrity and prevent corruption in the justice system; knowing that UNODC has consulted with approximately 40000 judges from around the world to ascertain the success and challenges faced by judges regarding judicial integrity. During the event, UNODC elaborated on the intended services and objectives of the Global Judicial integrity Network, as well as taking into consideration the findings of the participants.
For his part, Chancellor Emad Saleem Sa’ad presented a paper on supporting the development of judicial code of conduct and its implementations and prevention of corruption in judiciary.
